Instructors
Amanda Goodwin, known to friends as “Mandy,” comes to New York City from Ohio. She is an avid educator, actor and dancer whose specialty is teaching across disciplines. Her past teaching experiences include art instruction, dance, theater and outdoor education for children in preschool through 6th grade, including substitute teaching of classes for children with special needs in grades through high school. She was a Fine Arts Director for the YMCA Camp Kern summer program in Lebanon, Ohio and worked at the Town Hall Children’s Theater Company, also in Ohio, as a performer and an instructor. Her resume of training includes coursework at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company in Ohio. She holds BA in Literature with a minor in Art from Maryville College in Tennessee.
Krystal Camosse-Dwyer is a native of Massachusetts. She graduated with honors from Dean College with a BA in Dance and a minor in Psychology. In 2006, she danced professionally for the WNBA Connecticut Suns dance team and upon graduation from college in 2007, she moved to New York City to fulfill her dreams to dance. She has since trained at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in their coveted Independent Study Program where she worked with teachers such as Milton Myers and Dudley Williams and her choreography has been showcased at the Dance Teacher Magazine Convention. Alongside dance, one of her biggest passions is working with children. In early 2009, she volunteered her time to design and teach a 12 week Creative Movement Program for children at the Harlem branch of Neighborhood Holistic studios. Currently, Krystal continues to train and immerse herself in dance at the Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. She dances in all genres including ballet, modern, contemporary and hip hop. Most recently she danced in her first music video with DJ Webstar for the song Dancin on Me, and with much excitement will be working on the Something to Say Tour with Anthony Rodriquez, a dancer, choreographer and singer who has collaborated with A-list talent such as Jennifer Lopez and Madonna.
